• Chauffeurs:

Envoo, a local Austin transportation company, is pleased to announce open hiring for chauffeurs (independent contract drivers) located in the greater Austin area. We have several positions available with management potential. This job is similar to a taxi service. All drivers will be driving minivans, and earning potential varies by season and by your willingness to be on call for 5 day or 6 day 12-hour on call shifts. You will need to have Texas minimum liability auto insurance before applying for this job. Acquiring an Austin Chauffeur permit will be necessary for this job, which will entail getting a Certified Texas Driving Record (including state of prior residence if less than 3 years in Texas), and Texas DPS certified criminal history less than 30 days old before applying with the city of Austin and taking the Ground Transportation Chauffeur exam. Envoo will provide you with a photocopy of the City Ground Transportation Code to familiarize yourself with prior to the exam, as well as a copy of the application, and directions to both the DPS office for your background check and the Ground Transportation office. Envoo, a local Austin transportation company, is hiring independent-contract merchandise delivery drivers for the greater Austin and surrounding areas. May use company or personal vehicle-prefer vehicles with medium to large cargo space. Commissions vary based on use of company or own vehicle. Good driving history, Texas minimum liability insurance, and at least 3 years experience driving, as well as ability to lift and/or carry for short distances at least 35-50 pounds will be necessary for the performance of this job, including going up and down stairs.
